1. Platform Purpose

RiceBid.com is a global B2B marketplace for the trade of rice. It facilitates the listing, discovery, sample ordering, negotiation, and purchase of bulk rice between verified sellers and buyers worldwide.

2. User Access

  • Browsing: Anyone may browse rice listings without registration.
  • Buying: Buyers must register before or during checkout to place an order.
  • Selling: Sellers must register and undergo manual verification before listing products or opening a store.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • All information provided during registration must be accurate and complete.
  • FOOOD LTD reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in violation of these terms.

4. Product Listings

  • All rice products must be listed on a CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) basis.
  • Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of their listings.
  • FOOOD LTD reserves the right to remove any listing that breaches these terms or applicable laws.

5. Sample Orders

  • Buyers may order up to 2kg of rice samples at a flat fee of £30 (non-refundable).
  • Sample payments will be refunded only if the seller is unable to dispatch the sample within the agreed time.

6. Bulk Orders & Escrow

  • Payments for bulk orders are processed via Stripe and held in escrow.
  • Funds are released only upon buyer confirmation of receipt and quality.
  • In the case of a dispute, FOOOD LTD will facilitate resolution as a neutral intermediary.

7. Fees & Commission

  • Registration is free for buyers and sellers.
  • A small commission is deducted from the seller’s payout upon a successful transaction.
  • No monthly or upfront fees are currently charged.

8. Communications

  • By registering, you consent to receive platform-related emails and optional marketing updates (opt-in only).
  • WhatsApp and direct support may be used for customer service and onboarding.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content on RiceBid.com (logos, text, design) is the property of FOOOD LTD and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

FOOOD LTD reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the date of revision.
